It tells the story of Ezedike, the head of the eastern part of the Oju Alafia area boys, who is preparing to succeed Goke Snapper, his mentor and the head of the entire Oju Alafia market. He dreams of making life better for others, but must contend with his arch-rival, Tolu Tilapia, the leader of the western market of Oju Alafia, who has his eyes on the same position.
